General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Readiness

Confidentiality, integrity and availability are where Mvine start, not finish. This means the platform we deliver to you helps you take account of GDPR as well as the eight Data Protection principles.

The key design principle of Mvine’s One Cyber-Secure Platform is zero trust, making it impossible for anyone to access any information about anything held in the system unless they have been duly identified, authenticated and authorised. In other words, our privacy by design defaults to no access unless it is expressly given rather than full access unless it is removed. It's all about preventing the misuse of personally identifiable information.

This is in stark contrast to the design thinking used by most large incumbent system vendors who offer security wrappers as an addendum to the systems they sell, often as a managed service at an additional fee.

GDPR introduced on 25th May 2018 requires that you have taken account of:

  • The lawful basis for processing
  • The eight Individual rights
  • Accountability and governance
  • Security
  • International transfers
  • Personal data breaches
  • Exemptions
