Angels Die Younger were formed in early 2004 when band members Matt Brown (guitar), Paul Gallagher (bass) and Adam Reeves (drums) re-established a musical relationship that had been resting dormant for too long. Having grown up together and worked within various bands, their connection and musical aspirations have always been a strong driving force, bringing them back together to play with freedom and write music they believe in, that binds natural feeling, intensity and energy. Bound by friendship and a shared desire to write music with spirit and emotion the foundations were set. Having made the move to London it was not until the introduction of Patrick McDonald’s vocal talent that the band began to take shape and resonate with all the textures and dynamics that make Angels Die Younger a powerful, melodic and lyrical band. Energised and lifted by this completed line up the band began to hone their sound drawing from a range of their influences which among others include Pearl Jam, Counting Crows and Jack Johnson. With a set of songs that have already received much appreciation and excitement Angels Die Younger are securing gigs in London with a live sound and performance that is both intimate and powerful. With a naturally conceived style developing around and within them the band cross many boundaries, as they and others feed from the music; connecting, rocking, uplifting, energising, communicating and touching the audience. Aspiring to play with integrity and natural, emotive honesty the band hold the belief that Angels Die Younger will become part of the public consciousness as they continue to showcase their music!
