I'm Alice Nicholls - I hail from the wonderful land of Lincolnshire, I'm at Huddersfield University studying music, and I've now been songwriting for long enough to think about getting a record deal. I've been writing my own material since I was 9 and have recorded 2 albums, Resonance (2004) and The Coffee Songs (2006); my third album Abstract Black is currently in the process of being recorded, and a lengthy process it is too! Most of my stuff is generally acoustic, slightly folky, alternative pop. I play piano/keyboards, acoustic guitar, and sing, and other random instruments such as violin when the song calls for it. I've got a few upcoming gigs in both Huddersfield and Lincolnshire, the first of which is at Huddersfield University Student's Union in May 2007. any more upcoming gig dates will be posted on here.
