Letdown are a four-piece rock band from Surrey, England. Formed in December 2004 by four friends sharing a combined love of Oasis, Radiohead and U2 albums. Having previously engaged in other musical ventures, Letdown were formed as the superior by-product of various rock bands. Clutching fistfuls of acoustic songs and reams of lyrics, Letdown have set out to spread their combined love and appreciation of music, snare themselves a following, and inspire people to stand up and shout from the terraces, while concentrating on simply writing songs people can love. From the first nights spent discussing the music that brought us together, Letdown hope they can inspire people the same way they have been inspired, and build on what was started by those who have gone before them.
