MVine developed a collaborative membership portal for the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Designed purely designed for CIM members to network, collaborate and share knowledge.
The portal allows members to create, content rich, personal profiles that summarize professional accomplishments and CIM qualifications, including creating a personal digital portfolio - including, white papers, adverts (video, audio, pdf) presentations, marketing plans, which can be shared or made private (private document store).
Members can join up to 200 online groups based on geography, sector or topic.
Within the groups, members can create discussions, add content, share useful links, add news and events. In effect each network is a mini website controlled and managed by the members for the members.
Members can also create private groups. Many tutors set up private spaces to collaborate with a small group of students.
The CIM have also created dozens of private committee groups within the portal in which agendas, minutes are stored.
Each member benefits from a personalized experience.
Home page is a user centric dashboard bringing together in one place all the latest news, events, content discussions from their own selected networks.
All items can be alerted on so that each user is kept up to date on what is happening at a frequency of their choice.
